Born and raised in this sleepy community outside San Diego, Bonnie grew up in a very small-town atmosphere. “Besides my parents and my brother and sister, we were surrounded by extended family – and you knew just about everyone in town,” she reminisces. (An interesting side note is that Bonnie’s family is related to Elisha Babcock, the architect of the famous Hotel Del Coronado.)

Those small-town roots and mannerisms heavily influence Bonnie’s impact in her community as well as her successful approach to real estate. Bonnie runs an area social group called Yorba Linda Moms, comprised of more than 10,000 members from Yorba Linda and surrounding areas. “I pride myself in always giving back to my community and being an area specialist,” she says. “Helping local families with everything from the buying and selling process to helping them with local info such as doctors, restaurants, area handymen, etc., is what I love to do.”

Real Estate Via the Fashion Industry

Bonnie’s path to becoming a leading agent has taken her across the country. She’s lived in New York City, South Florida. Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Bonnie was a full-time model for 10 years, during which she studied business and marketing at UNLV and in San Diego. She leveraged her modeling career and business savvy into a successful career as a Sales Executive in the fashion industry. She went on to work for numerous global brands that were sold in high end stores like Nordstrom, Saks and Bloomingdales. Interestingly, this is how she met her husband of over 20 years, Joseph, who has been (and remains) successful in the fashion industry for decades.

Communication, Care and Commitment

With her drive and enthusiastic personality, it was only natural that Bonnie would be successful in the real estate industry, a career that she is truly passionate about. What makes her so successful and generates so many referrals? “I believe constant communication is the foundation to success,” she notes. “I am always reachable by phone, text or email, and I pride myself in the fact that so many clients compliment me on my response time.” Bonnie’s commitment to her clients extends way past her incredible communication skills; she does everything in her power to make her clients’ selling or buying experience a great one. In most cases, clients become friends with her and their relationship extends beyond the close of sale, resulting in those many referrals.

A Realtor’s Home Life

When Bonnie is not doing the legwork and research for her clients, or following up to take care of any loose ends so she can help her sellers and buyers, she cherishes family life with her husband, her two sons, Ryan and Dylan, and their beloved Pug, Bruno. Bonnie also loves supporting her sons’ athletic endeavors out on the Little League fields and in the Karate Dojo. She is an avid fan of cooking, specializing in Italian and Mexican food, but she’s also famous for her salads.
